Dear Mr. Hampton:

I hope you are well. I am writing to be considered for an overseas assignment with Talbot Thingamajig, Inc. Specifically, I am requesting to be assigned to help open a branch of the company in Russia. I chose to study Russia in my training course because their culture really interests me and their time in world war. I just really think Russia would be a great place to learn about.

Over the course of the next 7 ½ weeks, I expect to learn about Russia’s culture, food, business etiquette and some important phrases in Russia. Having this knowledge will help me better understand their language and understand the people. I will also be able to write in the Russian form (?? This is not important. How will you be able to help the company???) -1 pt.

Lastly, I think I would be a great addition to this team because, I can work as a team I played football and that is all team work. I am a hard worker if I know I need to get something done I wll.( These sentences are run-on sentences and awkward. Plus, you need to PROVE your statements with specific examples from football. How do I know you are a hard worker otherwise?) -2 pts.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Ian Hutchison
